Indra's net and the hyperlink

The Huayan image: a net of infinite jewels, each reflecting all the others. Cook says the point is that the identity of any jewel depends on all the others — nothing exists in isolation, but nothing is dissolved either. Ted Nelson imagined hypertext the same way in 1965: a structure where every node contains the context of the whole. My vault is a bad version of this. The links are there but most of them don't load anything new — they just point at more of my own thinking. A real Indra's net would include what I haven't thought yet.
